Rolosoft Geo IP.NET is designed to integrate naturally and seamlessly with ASP.NET websites and applications. It enables you to leverage built-in capabilities of the ASP.NET framework to:-
- Use resource files to localize presentation content (e.g. labels, images, text etc.).
- Present appropriate currency formatting and denomination (e.g. $,£,€,Yen(¥) etc).
- Present appropriate date formatting.

Rolosoft Geo IP.NET fixes the shortcomings of the built in ASP.NET Culture=Auto settings.
ASP.NET built in Culture=Auto uses client browser settings to indentify country and culture. Unfortunately, a large proportion of internet browsers on the Internet are set to the default settings of "en-US" even if a user is not in the United States. As a result of this inherent problem, the built in capabilities of ASP.NET to accurately identify an Internet users country of origin is greatly limited.
Rolosoft Geo IP.NET fixes this limitation by automatically setting the ASP.NET culture and UI Culture based on the IP of the user visiting your website. This give far greater accuracy and websites can now confidently localize content based on the detected country of origin.
